Dirty glass makes a clean house look tired

Utah dust, sprinkler spray and winter grit build a film you stop noticing until the sun hits it at the wrong angle. Rooms feel dimmer, photos look hazy and the whole exterior reads neglected — even when everything else is spotless.

We clean the glass by hand, then handle the parts most people skip: the screens that hold the dust, the tracks that collect grit, the sills that show it. You get the light back, and the house looks looked-after from the curb.

What a window cleaning visit includes

Everything on this list is part of the job — not an upsell once we are on site.

6 things, every visit

  • Interior & exterior glass

Both sides of every pane you want done, hand-washed and squeegeed dry.

  • Screens cleaned

Removed, washed down, dried and put back the way they came out.

  • Tracks & sills wiped

The grit and dead bugs in the channel — vacuumed and wiped, not pushed around.

  • Frames detailed

Edges and frames wiped so there is no dirty border around clean glass.

  • Hard-to-reach panes

Second-storey and stairwell windows reached safely with proper ladder work.

  • Tidy finish

Drop cloths inside, no puddles on the sills, nothing left on your lawn.

How window cleaning is priced

There is no flat rate for a house, because no two houses have the same glass. These are the things we ask about on the phone — with the answers, we can usually price it there and then.

Call with a rough pane count and how many storeys, and we will give you the number over the phone. We do not send someone out to "assess" a standard house.

  • How many panesCounted per pane, not per window — a big picture window is one, a divided sash is several.
  • How many storeysSecond and third-storey glass takes ladder work and longer, so it prices differently to ground floor.
  • Inside, outside or bothExterior-only is the cheaper visit. Interior adds time for moving furniture and drop cloths.
  • Screens and tracksIncluded as standard — but a house with screens on every window is more work than one without.
  • ConditionGlass that has not been done in years, or has hard-water spotting, takes a first visit that is longer than the ones after it.
  • How oftenA twice-a-year slot is easier to price than a one-off, because the second visit is always the quicker one.

Our guarantee, in one sentence

If a pane is streaky or we missed a sill, tell us within 7 days and we come back and redo it — no charge, no argument.

Licensed and insured, and the same crew every visit — so there is never a question of who is responsible for putting it right.

What happens when you book

Start to finish on a window cleaning visit — so there are no surprises about who turns up, what we do, or what we need from you.

  1. 1

    You call, we price it

Two minutes on the phone. Pane count, storeys, inside or out, and you have a number.

  2. 2

    We give you a day

A day and an arrival window. If we are running late you hear it from us before you have to ask.

  3. 3

    We clean, you carry on

Drop cloths down inside, screens out and washed, tracks cleared, glass squeegeed dry. Exterior-only visits do not need you home.

  4. 4

    We walk it with you

Before we pack up we look at the glass together in daylight. Anything you can see, we do again there and then.

When Salt Lake Valley homes book windows

Two visits a year suits most houses here, and the timing is not arbitrary — it follows what the valley throws at your glass.

  • Late spring, once the blossom and pollen have finished and the sprinklers have started spotting the exterior glass.
  • Early autumn, before the inversion season puts a film on everything and while the weather still holds for exterior work.
  • Before you list a house or host — clean glass is the cheapest thing you can do to a tired-looking exterior.

Window Cleaning questions

Do you clean inside as well as outside?

Yes. Most homes book both. Interior work is done with drop cloths down and sills wiped dry — tell us if certain rooms are off limits and we work around them.

Do you clean the screens and tracks too?

They are part of a standard clean, not an add-on. Screens come out and get washed, tracks get the grit cleared, sills get wiped.

How often should windows be cleaned?

Twice a year suits most Salt Lake Valley homes — once after the spring pollen and sprinkler season starts, once before the holidays. Homes near a busy road or with lots of trees often prefer three.

Do I need to be home?

Only if you want interior work done. Exterior-only cleans just need gate access and the sprinklers off.

What if a window still looks streaky?

Call us and we come back out. That is the whole of our satisfaction guarantee — no forms, no argument.

What happens if it rains on my day?

Exterior work waits for weather — we move you to the next dry slot rather than clean glass into a storm. Interior work goes ahead regardless.

How long does it take?

A typical single-storey home is a couple of hours; a large two-storey with interiors can take most of a morning. We give you a realistic window when we book, not an optimistic one.
