Weeding across the Salt Lake Valley
Beds that stay clear all season
Weeds pulled and treated in the beds, rock strips and cracks — then kept down so they never take the yard back.

- Salt Lake Valley local

Weeds do not come back slowly — they come back all at once
Two hot weeks and a bindweed run turns a tidy rock strip into the first thing anyone notices about the house. Pull the tops only and it is back before the month is out, because the root never left.
We clear the beds, rock strips, curb lines and pavement cracks properly, treat what needs treating, and then come back on a regular visit so it never gets a head start again.

What a weeding visit includes
Everything on this list is part of the job — not an upsell once we are on site.
6 things, every visit
Beds cleared
Flower and shrub beds hand-weeded around what you actually want growing.
Rock & gravel strips
Side yards, park strips and rock beds pulled clear.
Cracks & edges
Driveway seams, walk joints and curb lines cleaned out.
Treated where it helps
Applied carefully and only where it belongs — never a blanket spray.
Waste taken away
Pulled growth leaves with us, not piled behind the fence.
Kept down
A repeat visit that stops the whole thing starting over.
How weeding is priced
The first visit and the visits after it are different jobs. Clearing a bed that has got away from you takes time; keeping it clear afterwards does not. We price both honestly.
Describe the yard on the phone — beds, rock strips, how long it has been — and we will quote the clean-out and the ongoing visit separately so you can see both.

- Area to coverBeds, rock strips, park strips and pavement seams — how much ground there is to work.
- How far gone it isA first clean-out on an overgrown yard is priced as its own visit, not as a maintenance call.
- What is growingBindweed and morning glory come back from root and need a different approach to ordinary annual weeds.
- Hand-pull or treatBeds around plantings get hand-weeded; rock and pavement is usually treated. Most yards are a mix.
- How often we come backMonthly through the growing season costs less per visit than calling us once a summer in a panic.
- Green wasteWhat we pull leaves with us. A heavy clean-out means more to haul.

Weeds do not wait
In a Utah summer the gap between "a few weeds" and "the beds are gone" is about three weeks. The calendar matters more here than the effort does.
- Early spring is the cheapest time to start — everything is small and shallow-rooted.
- June–August is when bindweed and morning glory run. Missing a month here costs you two visits later.
- Autumn clearing stops this year’s seed becoming next year’s problem.

Weeding questions
Do you pull weeds or spray them?
Both, depending on where they are. Beds around plantings get hand-pulled; rock strips and pavement cracks are usually treated. We never blanket-spray a yard.
Is it safe around pets and kids?
Anything applied is used to label and kept off lawns and play areas. Tell us about pets when you book and we will plan the visit around them.
How often do you come back?
Most yards hold well on a monthly visit through the growing season. Heavy bindweed or morning-glory areas do better every few weeks at the start.
Can you clear a yard that has got away from us?
Yes. The first visit is a clean-out and takes longer — after that it is a maintenance visit. Call and describe it, and we will quote it honestly.
Do I need to be home?
Only for the first visit if you want to walk the yard with us and point out what stays. After that, no.
What happens to what you pull?
It leaves on our truck. Nothing gets piled behind the shed or left at the curb for you to deal with.
